EmanuelHendry Ltd were chosen as timber frame contractors to supply, deliver and erect the structural frame for the Hermitage Community Mooring Pier House. A floating building, Douglas Fir was chosen because of its durability, strength and weight. A timber 'Howe' truss was used for the central ridge.
